Dental 3D printing: That’s how we’re there for our customers.

3D printing made easier? Why not read what Wessex Dental Laboratory, a British customer of ours, has to say about working with DMG?

‘What support means to us at Wessex Dental Laboratory.’
For our dental lab, support means having someone who is just a phone call away and can help us with a problem or supply us with key materials and equipment at short notice. This kind of support is crucially important for our company, which operates on the principle of just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing. This allows us to reduce inventory levels and save space, and enables us to adapt our production processes as needed to meet all the order requirements while increasing production speed without compromising on quality.

Without this kind of support from our suppliers, our laboratory would struggle to meet our customers’ and patients’ needs in a timely manner, and we wouldn’t be able to compete in this market.

Words cannot express how much we appreciate the support we’ve received from DMG over the last few months since we purchased our new 3Demax printer. When all this new equipment is introduced, problems are bound to occur in the first few months. This issue was something that the DMG team clearly understood, since they provided us with round-the-clock support. Thanks to this support, we weren’t long in overcoming any issues and reducing the impact on our production schedule, allowing us to quickly integrate our new 3D printer into our daily operations.

Not only does DMG play an important role in supporting our 3D printer’s day-to-day operations; it is now also one of our suppliers of essential materials, which has proved vital in keeping our business running during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to DMG’s continuous efforts to go above and beyond for us whenever we needed help, the company has helped to ensure our success even in these tough times’.

We are delighted with this feedback and would like to send our sincere thanks to the team at Wessex Dental: John Stoodley (Director), Ania Rauze (Director), Christopher Burroughs (Design Engineer).
