DMG online seminar: Digital workflows in the dental clinic and in the dental laboratory

In this online seminar with a live demo, Dr Ingo Baresel (President of the German Digital Oral Impression Association) and dental technician Fabian Oberhofer use the example of an occlusal splint to show how digital technologies can be used to perfect the cooperative relationship between the clinic and the laboratory.

The possibilities and opportunities provided by digital workflows are discussed first of all, and the differences between various intraoral scanners are shown.

In the practical section, a patient’s oral situation is scanned live, the scan data are processed in DMG’s award-winning DentaMile connect software, and a splint is 3D-printed. Finally, this 3D-printed splint is used live on the patient.

The event will take place on 21 April. Participation is free and will be rewarded with 2 seminar points.
