After more than one year since the war started, the people in Ukraine continue to suffer from relentless attacks. And we are continuing to find ways to help them.
As we have already shared, DMG is supporting the Hamburg/Kyiv City Pact initiative through the associated aid organisation #WeAreAllUkrainians , which is headed by Dr Wladimir Klitschko and Tatjana Kiel. Donated funds are being used to purchase important medical equipment.
The latest donation by DMG was used to purchase various consumables required in the daily running of hospitals. Among other items, these included gauze bandages, compresses, surgical gowns, masks and gloves, catheters, tubular bandages, disinfectants and much more. The medical goods were recently delivered to the hospital in the western Ukrainian city of Luzk, which has suffered heavily from missile attacks. The hospital staff were very thankful for this urgently needed aid.
