Ecosite Elements makes everyday work easier thanks to the NC1 (‘non-clustering’) technology developed by DMG, because the precise silanisation of individual fillers enables a particularly homogeneous distribution. Direct composite restorations for aesthetic rehabilitation following anterior dental trauma
Anterior dental trauma can present a restorative dilemma for dentists. Patients arrive seeking the fastest possible rehabilitation option. Often the defects are not so severe that a crown restoration is required, but aesthetic rehabilitation using composites in particular can often present challenges.
In this case, a 30-year-old patient was dissatisfied with direct composite build-ups following anterior tooth trauma and wanted an aesthetic restoration with the most minimally invasive procedure possible.

Direct composite veneers combined with minimally invasive direct composite restorations
This young lady presented herself to us and enquired about the possibilities of removing brown hypoplastic areas on her lateral incisors, and also closing the spaces between them. […] Our patient is 25 years old, but the interdental spaces and the morphology of her teeth make her smile appear rather childlike. She wanted minimally invasive options to whiten her front teeth and improve her smile. She showed no interest in having her teeth orthodontically corrected, and I felt that this would not affect the morphology and ideal proportions of her smile.

Direct composite veneers using a direct intraoral mock-up
This lady introduced herself to us after seeing our work on our social media channels. She had erosive wear and abrasion in her maxillary front teeth, as well as gaps and some other problems in the posterior region, including root remnants. The lady is 66 years old. She wanted minimally invasive options to whiten her front teeth to improve her smile and address the wear that had occurred over the years. She was not interested in restoring the rest of her teeth and told us that she wanted her family dentist to take care of the rest of her teeth and remove the root remnants.
