LuxaBond Universal offers universal potential applications, and errors are all but eliminated due to unspecified indications. No questions are raised concerning the need for etching or light curing – because the product is universal four times over:

• Universal in etching mode: self-etch, total-etch, selective-etch
• Universal in use for direct restorations and as a primer for indirect restorations
• Universally suitable for light-curing, self-curing and dual-curing materials
• Universal due to dual curing: light-curing and self-curing

The MDP monomer contained in LuxaBond Universal makes the strong chemical bond between all the components possible – whether dealing with silicate or oxide ceramics (e.g. zirconium dioxide), composite or metal alloy, dentine or enamel, or composite filling material or cement. MDP technology reliably ensures the best adhesive bond.

LuxaBond’s outstanding bonding values have been scientifically tried-and-tested – for both enamel and dentine. Whether the self-etch or total-etch technique is used, or the material is self-cured or light-cured. Even without additional light curing, the bonding properties are excellent and guarantee reliable use in the root canal.

LuxaBond Universal can be used as an adhesive or as a primer:

As an adhesive: e.g. for direct restorations using light-curing composites and compomers, for light-curing fissure-sealing materials and core build-up materials (light-, self- and dual-curing), for cementing indirect restorations and root posts with composite-based luting cements (light-, self- and dual-curing) or for cementing veneers with adhesive composites using the enamel etching technique.

As a primer: LuxaBond Universal is suitable for indirect metal restorations (precious and non-precious metals), zirconia / aluminium oxide, silicate ceramics and composites.
